Prep Your Wood Surface
Tape off the surfaces of your deck or patio you don't want stained. Avoid staining in direct sunlight so the wood stain does not dry unevenly. Then get ready to apply wood stain!

Apply Wood Stain
For even coverage, apply the wood stain to one board at a time. For best results, backbrush into the wood surface. Refer to the Product Label, Technical Data Sheet (TDS) or Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for safety and detailed application instructions.
PREP STEPS & PRODUCT SPECS
Coverage
One gallon or 3.78 Liters covers approximately 250 to 350 sq. ft. or 23.2 to 32.5 sq. meters depending on application, wood texture and porosity.
Drying Time
Normally dries in 24 hours when applied in optimal temperatures of 50°F to 85°F or 10°C to 29°C. Application in high humidity or in temperatures below 50°F or 10°C may prolong drying times. Allow 24 to 48 hours of drying time before light foot traffic or replacing furniture.
Drying times may vary depending on temperature, humidity, film build, color and air movement.
Cleanup
Clean brushes and tools with mineral spirits for <600 g/L VOC version and with soap and water for <100 g/L VOC version.
